For public housing authorities

Grant preparation
for housing authorities.

HUD grant writing, budgets and application review for public housing authorities. Get help with a complete application or a specific task your staff needs to finish.

Where do you need help?

Your staff may have a draft underway, a notice to assess or a deadline approaching. We define the work around what remains to be done.

Review the funding notice

We read the applicant requirements, rating factors and required attachments with your team. You can bring a notice you are considering or ask for help researching an opportunity.

Prepare the application

We help gather the local information, draft the narrative and organize supporting documents. If your team has already started, we can work on the sections that still need attention.

Develop the budget

We help prepare cost estimates and budget explanations, then check that the proposed activities, figures and supporting records agree.

Review and support submission

We review the application against the notice, flag missing items and help your team prepare for submission. The agreed scope identifies the work and the responsibilities on each side.

Hands-on application experience

Work that reaches
beyond the narrative.

Before we start.

Can you work with our existing grant staff?

Yes. We can take on an agreed part of an application, such as writing, budgeting, document organization or review. Tell Edwin what your team has completed and where you need help.

What should we send first?

Start with your agency name, a link to the funding notice, the deadline and a short description of the support you need. If you have not selected a program, describe the project you want to fund.

How do we agree on scope and fees?

After discussing the application and the work remaining, Edwin prepares a proposed scope and fee. Availability depends on the assignment and deadline.

Does application support guarantee funding?

No. The funding agency decides which applications receive an award. Our role is to help prepare and review your application against the applicable notice.

Send Edwin the
funding notice.

Include your deadline and the work you need help with. We can arrange a call by email.
